Delights Sun Hospital, founded on 18th May 2021 under the leadership of Sylvia Moraa Onsare and Mr. Denis Mugambi, was established to meet the pressing healthcare needs of its community. Recognizing the urgent need for a facility that offered proximity, affordability, and compassionate care, they embarked on a mission to create a beacon of hope for those in need of medical assistance.
The name Delights Sun symbolizes this mission, reflecting the constant and reliable rise of the sun, bringing light and hope despite any challenges faced. Just as the sun dispels darkness each day, Delights Sun Hospital aims to bring joy, relief, and exceptional medical care to its patients.
On 8th March 2024, Delights Sun Hospital was registered as a Level 2 facility, fully equipped to provide comprehensive outpatient services. The hospital has a modern laboratory, pharmacy, and observation wards, ensuring patients receive timely and accurate diagnoses and treatments.
Services offered include: Outpatient Services, Laboratory Services, Maternal and Child Health / Family Planning (MCH/FP), and Minor Procedures.
Our team includes five permanent staff members — nurses/midwives, clinicians, a laboratory and pharmacy technician, and front office personnel. In addition, our partnerships with other healthcare facilities give us access to a pool of specialists, enabling effective management of emergency cases.
